The next Reading Munch will take place next Friday 15th July, from around 7.30pm, at The Outlook in Reading. We hope to be in the non-smoking area to the right of the door. We have deviated from our usual routine of holding it on the 16th, so that people can get to the ST summer party on the Saturday. Pete and I will once again not be in attendance, but proceedings will be ably managed by Melissa and Bagpuss.
Directions and Parking
The link includes a map showing that the pub is on the Kings Road, on the town centre side of the bridge. On the other side of the bridge you will find the Queens Road car park, accessible from the A329. You can also park right outside the pub if you are lucky.
Dress Code and Behaviour
Since they would not allow us to book, the pub is not currently aware of our meeting or our inclinations, so please dress in street clothes and be discreet.
Locating us
We can usually be found at the front of the pub, round the corner to your right as you come in through the door. Look out for Bagpuss - can't miss him!

Next Munch: Thursday 16th June
The fifth Reading Munch will take place next Thursday, 16th June, from around 7.30pm, at The Outlook in Reading. Pete and I won't be able to make it on Thursday, but Melissa has agreed to take charge, although I doubt there will be any problems. July 16th clashes with the Sweet Torments summer party and a further double-booking for me and Pete, so we will actually deviate from the plan and hold the munch on Friday 15th July. Since the pub will probably be hideously busy on a Friday, we're going to go for a curry instead, so I will need to know exact numbers! Put it in your diary now...
