The problem of men
I notice that all the munches so far have been virtually men's clubs - I think four women is the all-time high. What on earth can we do to encourage more girls to turn up? I mean, apart from promising a high ratio of single male doms...

I tried to do my bit by not managing to come along on Monday!
If it was quite busy, sounds like I didn't lower the men-to-women ratio by very much though...
Just and idea fokes but what about a "Ladies only night". If this would help the gals feel more comftable. Then they could make friends without getting hit on (not that i'm saying that happens) but feel more open and relaxed and make friends. Then they could pop into the regular mixed munchies with a pal as back up? just a thought.
Well it's only been going for a few months, and I advertise it on Informed Consent and various Y! groups. If you have some good ideas about how else to raise the profile, I'd be happy to hear them.

Is it just a matter of raising the profile of the munch? I have been looking for a Reading event for a while and only stumbled across this site today.
I guess there's a tendency for men to outnumber women, but if there were more attendees perhaps that wouldn't matter so much?
